DYLAN & KRYSTAL- A Letter for Sanren

I first met Dylan and Krystal on March. Due to pandemic, we can only have zoom calls for our discussion. After we set our shooting date on June, SOP got tighten and we have to postponed it again. As government slowly loosen the SOPs, we decided to conduct the session on October.

They want something that is rare and unusual, so I suggested film photography. Film has tones and moods that digital photography cannot mimic. Although at first Dylan prefer digital photography than film, I really glad they accepts film session for their prewedding. Cause the outcomes are super good !

After a day shoot, we wonder the old Batu Pahat streets with our KL couple for night shoots.

We went for a more stand out styling for the night shoot. Cause I believe everyone has their dark side. And I love bringing out the dark side of my couples.

We enjoyed the darkroom experience too. The darkroom is quite small but magic happens in there. I still remember the first time I developed a photograph in the darkroom, watching it appeared in the paper that was in the developer, it was almost like witnessing a miracle. Now, we appreciate even more of the photographer’s hard works.
