HELLO SEOUL !

Hello Seoul!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to South Korea, but what’s difference from the last time is that this time is for some shooting at there. And this time instead of working with our own team, we also collaborate with the local’s photographer, Rio which known as sooo_film in instagram.

RIO :

Hi! I’m Rio who is photographer in Korea!

Before our collaboration with them, I thought it’s never easy to juggle photo & video session at the same time. But they amaze me with their shooting process. There’s no denying that their way of working is a brilliant.

And thanks to them, I have learn a lot of things. What I realised is that I didn’t know the fact that my photos are kinda flat compared to their composition. And when I ruminate over the way of my working, I found myself that I have a tendency to hesitate to challenge something new compared to them.

So now I know how to enhance and curate my photos better. And most importantly I now have unquenchable thirst for improving my skill.

In short, I think I really want to work with Thesanren again, and it was such an honour to work with you guys!

Peng:

It’s surely are different when shooting in oversea than back in home cause our couples this time are all locals from Korea. The main difficulties we faced are surely communication and also our culture are so much different from each other.

Thanks to this opportunity, we also glad that we have collaborated with Rio. It’s was hard at first cause we didn’t know how the sparks are going to be for both of us. Luckily it turned out quite well and wish to work with each other in future!

We exchanged a lot of ideas, experiences and things we like about for photography. We also shared how different is the sooting styles are from each other, Rio told us the Korean usually like something that are more safer shoots than what we usually do, so he was quite not to say shock but is like something very new to him. Anyhow, we would love that if the collaboration going to be happen again soon in the future!

Seoul, a place that we have met new friends, people, culture and all the other things we could not put in words. Here you go! There’s more to come!
